This is a test post
The prototype was first exhibited at the 1953 London Motor Show. The car used a 4 litre 6-cylinder Austin engine with triple-SU carburettors (plus a 4th carb just for starting!), obtained from Austin as a "sweetener" from Austin for having copied a Jensen design for the first Sheerline. This engine developed 125 bhp - maximum speed of 116 mph and 0-60 of 10.8 secs. This was the first four-seater production car to use a glass fibre body and the first with all-round disc brakes.
